Test the visit inside the app that sends it
An advert may open your site inside the app’s own browser. Test loading, scrolling, forms and links there as well as in Safari and Chrome, on a device representative of your audience.
Measure before changing things
Record the device, entry source, page and moment the slowdown appears. Distinguish slow loading from delayed interaction and uneven scrolling.
Core Web Vitals describe loading, responsiveness and visual stability. Lab measurements help comparisons, but they do not replace real-user evidence.
Prioritize content over decoration
Review image sizes, fonts and what loads before essential content. Defer nonessential images and components until needed.
Test continuous animation, blur and scrolling effects. Keep useful interaction and reduce decorative work when device resources are constrained.
Test the complete visit
Open the link from the app, read, switch language and use the form and external links. Check returning after navigation or interrupted connectivity.
Record what was and was not tested. Emulating a browser’s user-agent string on a computer does not establish performance inside the actual Instagram app.
